How Superbills Work
I am an “out of network” provider, meaning I do not contract with any insurance companies. I can provide you with a “superbill,” an insurance claim form, for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company directly to find out how much your insurance reimburses.
Cancellation & No-Shows
Kindly cancel appointments by email, text, or phone at least 48 hours before your appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate of Services
As of January 1, 2022, the “No Surprises Act” gives you the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of your mental health care costs. Under this law, health care providers need to give clients who either don’t have insurance, or are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for consultations and comprehensive psychological services. We will discuss the fees with you, and you can ask us for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule your first session. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
